A Noteable Performance

Amy Cheung, daughter of AAA Central Penn Travel China Expert Bob Cheung, meets Gov. Edward Rendell after her piano performance during his Inaugural Celebration of the Arts at the Whitaker Center in Harrisburg. Amy performed the Cadenza of Beethoven’s Concerto No. 1 in C Major. Amy is a junior at Cedar Cliff High School. She was one of 12 pianists in the state selected to attend the Governor’s School of the Arts last summer. Amy has been studying with Ann Shurtz for 11 years and with Gloria Whitney of the Eaken Piano Trio for a year.
