The AAA Staff is at Your Service in Lititz

The Lititz Branch of AAA Central Penn, located at 727 South Broad Street, is at a convenient location along busy Route 501. And the staff is full of familiar faces to the members who stop in here. With Member Services as well as Insurance Agency and Travel Agency, the friendly, happy and likable group at Lititz can fulfill all your AAA needs.

Community is very important to the staff at the Lititz branch. Branch Manager Amy Dickerman is involved with many of the Lititz business groups, including Venture Lititz, a group of merchants and others whose businesses are within the borough’s boundaries. The staff also took part in the borough’s 250th anniversary celebration in 2006 and is committed annually to the Antique Car and Motorcycle Show held in August. Dickerman said 700 registered vehicles parade on Main Street and she is the official Mustang judge. But this group of people doesn’t stop here. Every year they sponsor a needy family in the area and give them Christmas. From fulfilling the children’s wish lists to providing a dinner with all of the trimmings, the entire staff goes out and helps with the shopping.

Meet the people of this office who genuinely enjoy providing service to the members and working with each other:

Member Services

Amy Dickerman is the Branch Manager who oversees the daily operations of the branch. She has been with AAA Central Penn for almost 14 years.

Assistant Branch Manager Barb Murray started at AAA in October 1998, when she was a second-shift Emergency Road Service call taker. From there she became the assistant to the Road Service manager and then to member services in Lititz. The Member Services Specialists at the Lititz Branch are always ready to help with everything from licensing to ordering a TripTik, helping with a luggage purchase to taking a passport photo and more, the versatile staff can do it all.

Deb Holzwarth has been at AAA since 1994. Previously a branch manager and travel manager, it runs in the family — her husband Rusty is the branch manager at Estelle Drive. Jen Hershey is the newest Member Service Specialist on the scene with two years at AAA.

JoAnn Porter has been with AAA for 13 years. JoAnn is responsible for keeping the Travel Store stocked and fresh looking. She enjoys decorating the office, with the aid of her co-workers.

Hen Bell has been a part-time AAA employee for 45 years. He retired from teaching in 1993 after 35 years of teaching U.S. history.

Deb Pohner is the first face most members see when they walk into the Lititz office. The office receptionist also admits "I know the majority of the people who walk through the door." She is celebrating 12 years with AAA.

Part-time receptionist Beverly Muhlberg can been seen greeting members on Saturday mornings. "The employees here are so nice," she said. "And I like meeting the people coming in."

Insurance

Joan Adams feels blessed about her insurance agent position at AAA. She’s at the office Monday through Friday and is celebrating 11 years at the club. She is licensed to sell property and casualty insurance, which includes auto, motorcycle and recreational vehicles, home, renters and umbrella policies with AAA-Mid Atlantic, Encompass, Progressive and Travelers insurance companies. She can also offer life and health insurance through AAA Life, Assurant Health and Harleysville Life insurance companies. In many cases, members receive special discounts.

Travel

Travel Consultant Kristin Sawyer has been with AAA Central Penn for six years. Kristin is a Master Cruise Counselor and an Alaska destination specialist. She just earned her Certified Travel Agent status.

Stacy Bradley has been a travel consultant with AAA Central Penn for three years. Stacy is an Accredited Cruise Counselor, Alaska Destination Specialist and is working on her Southern Europe Destination Specialist designation. "I most enjoy planning travel for clients - Disney Family Vacations - especially multigenerational to see the excitement of parents and grandparents enjoying Disney again for the first time through their children’s eyes!" she said. "I also enjoy Alaska because so many clients come back feeling revitalized and awed by the experience they finally were able to enjoy after dreaming of it for so many years."
