Magazine Archive - May / June 2006 Consistent Excellence Reaps 4-Diamond Status for Local Businesses Four lodging establishments and two restaurants in the AAA Central Penn region have received the AAA Four-Diamond status for 2006. Time and again these businesses met the standard of excellence necessary to receive this distinction. To receive a Four-Diamond award, lodgings must be upscale in all areas. Accommodations are progressively more refined and stylish. The physical attributes reflect an obvious enhanced level of quality throughout. The fundamental hallmarks at this level include an extensive array of amenities combined with a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail. The lodgings that received 2006 Four-Diamond Awards were:
A four diamond restaurant is geared to individuals in search of a distinctive fine-dining experience. Often orchestrated by an executive chef and an accomplished staff, menus reflect a high degree of creativity and complexity, using imaginative presentations to enhance high quality, market-fresh ingredients.
