A Happy New Year

I am pleased to report that 2007 will be another good year for AAA clubs and members. We are predicting that total membership for all U.S. and Canadian clubs will reach the 50 million mark. This great accomplishment is quite a milestone as it means that AAA clubs continue to meet and exceed the expectations of our current membership while attracting new members.

While we celebrate this milestone, we will continue our commitment to make our services and products more innovative, desirable and pleasing to you, our members. We will do this at an increasingly faster pace, thereby insuring the viability of AAA Central Penn. Two areas that we feel are important and will emphasize are AAA Travel and AAA’s Energy Advocacy Position.

We will enhance the aaa.com functionality and content that will help us achieve the position of number one travel provider. AAA is acutely aware of the energy situation. In that regard, your club will provide AAA energy advocacy activities to lead to more stable energy availability, which will insure individual mobility and a choice of fuels and technologies for motorists.

Our members have a great deal to look forward to and expect from AAA Central Penn in 2007. Our goal is to fulfill your expectations and "go the extra mile" for you, our members, not only in 2007, but for years to come. In the winter months ahead, please take extra precautions for your and your passengers’ safety; buckle up and drive as if your life depends on it. Your safety is of primary importance to us. Let’s all have a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year.
